The 5th edition of Africa Place Marketing will be held under the theme "Major Events: Catalysts for Holistic and Inclusive Territorial Attractiveness"

This edition will bring together experts in territorial development and promotion to explore the crucial role of major events in transforming territories and creating sustainable opportunities. The main objective of this 5th edition is to foster reflection on the role of major events as a catalyst for development, attractiveness, and territorial marketing. The aim is to co-construct regional marketing strategies based on the unique DNA of each territory, promoting holistic development (integrating tourists, investors, and residents alike) and inclusivity. For 2024, Casablanca Events and Animation is organizing the international symposium "Africa Place Marketing" under the theme: "Major Events; Catalyst for Holistic and Inclusive Territorial Attractiveness." True to its reputation, Africa Place Marketing 2024 will once again bring together experts in territorial marketing to exchange best practices in the promotion and attractiveness of territories, this time through major events.

This discussion format will allow guests to exchange and discuss their points of view live, to challenge the concept of sustainability of territorial marketing strategies and inclusive strategies, and to address the factors, resources and determinants that would enable greater citizen involvement.

African Tourism Forum of Casablanca

Organized in partnership with the Regional Council of Tourism, the 1st African Tourism Forum of Casablanca is a forum for exchange and reflection on the adoption of territorial marketing as a driver of sustainable and inclusive development of African territories with tourism potential.

Africa Place Marketing Awards

The objective of the Africa Place Marketing aims to communicate, share, award and reward best territorial marketing practices in Africa.

Africa Place Marketing Competition

Africa Place Marketing Competition is a concept that aims to raise awareness each year among students, as future leaders, to develop insights around attractiveness and territorial marketing. The concept brings together students representing top universities and colleges interested in territorial marketing.
